Leeds Bradford Airport has had a tough few weeks with a surge of passengers getting ready to fly for the Easter period.
Travellers reported facing 'horrendous' queues and chaos with passengers fearing they'd miss their flights. Queues were spotted stretching from one end of the airport to another with the fast track queue not much help as hundreds joined it.
Leeds Bradford Airport bosses were forced to issue a message online in a bid to forewarn passengers, with a spokesperson saying: ""If you're due to travel over the Easter period, please arrive at the earliest time your airline allows. You can help to minimise any delays by preparing for the security screening process."
