Despite a 10-point loss to the Chicago Bulls, the Los Angeles Lakers and their playoff hopes got a huge boost on Sunday. LeBron James — who injured his right foot a month ago — returned to the lineup and came off the bench for the first time since 2007.
After the game, LeBron made it clear just how close he was to shutting things down for the season. According to the Lakers star, he had two separate doctors recommend season-ending surgery to repair the torn tendon in his foot. LeBron would seek a third opinion (!!!) from someone he dubbed, “the LeBron James of feet.” And that doctor gave James the confidence he needed to return to the court.

Of course, LeBron referring to someone else as the “LeBron James of feet” to signify GOAT status was humorous to hear as he said it. Reporters during the postgame interview could be heard laughing while LeBron pretty much kept a serious face.
What a quote, though: The LeBron James of Feet!
James scored 19 points in 30 minutes off the bench, but that quote was all that NBA fans could joke about on Twitter.
This was how Twitter reacted
