The Jets nearly pulled off one of the upsets of Week 4 of the NFL season on the arm of quarterback Zach Wilson. The 24-year-old, who began the season as the No. 2 signal-caller behind Aaron Rodgers, was excellent in the 23-20 loss to the Chiefs, showcasing a little of every bit of upside he’s flashed at times.
After the loss, Wilson was his own biggest critic, taking blame for the loss after fumbling with 7:24 remaining in the fourth quarter. and it was none other than Lakers stars LeBron James who stepped in to show major praise to Wilson shortly after.
“Helluva game kid! You win as a team and lose as well as a team! 1 play doesn’t define the whole game! Keep ya head up high and keep pushing forward!! If it was easy everyone would do it!,” James posted.

Wilson finished the night with 245 passing yards on 28-of-39 attempts with two touchdowns. He helped the Jets rally back from a 17-0 first-quarter hole and tie things up in the third quarter before a fourth-quarter field goal for Kansas City proved to be the difference.
