Liverpool have confirmed a new range of clothing as part of the collaboration with NBA legend LeBron James.
James is well known to be a Liverpool fan, and even has a one percent stake in Fenway Sports Group, having previously held a two per cent stake in the club itself. Ever since the Reds’ kit deal with Nike was confirmed in 2020, the partnership between the club and James has continued to grow.
The basketball icon was recently wearing Liverpool-inspired trainers during an NBA match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks last week. And now the club have teased a new range of clothing inspired by the 38-year-old, after weeks of speculation ahead of the launch.

In a tweet through the club’s official account, a series of photos have been published showing a range of clothes. These include a basketball-style shirt, as well as a football kit inspired by the NBA legend.
Last month, there were leaked photos of an apparent kit as part of a collaboration with Liverpool and James. Sources at the time told the ECHO that they were unable to confirm the kit, but now it seems that one is on the way.
The club have not stated when the new range will be available to purchase for fans. However, supporters will likely be excited by the opportunity to be able to get their hands on some whenever that will be.
Liverpool's post comes hours after James broke an NBA record by becoming the highest scoring player in the sport's history. He overtook Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the Lakers' win over Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, to beat a record held since 1984.
On Wednesday morning, Liverpool posted a tweet congratulating James on his achievement. It read: "Congratulations on becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, @King James. A truly incredible achievement."
