A man supervising a learner driver allegedly blew more than six times the legal alcohol limit during a random stop at Lake Macquarie.

Highway patrol police working under a statewide blitz known as Operation Raid stopped a red Mitsubishi Lancer for random testing just before 11pm on Saturday, September 5.
