When Arsenal lost out to Chelsea in the mega-bucks signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk there was a fair sense of disappointment that the Gunners had let a gem slip from their grasp.
But then along came Leandro Trossard. The Belgian initially struggled to land a concrete spot in Mikel Arteta's starting XI, but since an injury to Eddie Nketiah he grabbed the opportunity with both hands and has not relinquished his grip on that spot.
Since his introduction to the starting line-up the Gunners have bounced back from a mini blip with seven Premier League wins in a row. From those seven game,s Trossard has notched up seven assists and been a key aspect to Arsenal's ability to maintain their stranglehold on the Premier League title race.
