Laura Harrier and Tiffany Howell Just Dropped the Most Sophisticated Collection of the Year – See Inside This Designer Crate & Barrel Collaboration

A large living room with two women sitting on a cream couch, a large bar cabinet to the left, and a side table to the right with a vase of flowers on it .

Laura Harrier and Tiffany Howell are style icons in their own right. Laura – model, actress, the ultimate 'it-girl' – is probably the face of your street style-inspo Pinterest boards. Tiffany, on the other hand, is an interior extraordinaire – the creative mind behind sumptuous LA-based design firm Night Palm. They're longtime friends and collaborators, but now they've taken their relationship to the next level with a debut furniture and decor collection that has just launched at Crate & Barrel.

Like an ode to old Hollywood glamour with a hint of 1970s flair, Laura and Tiffany's Crate and Barrel collection is even more luxe and polished than you'd expect it to be. It's reflective of some of today's hottest design trends, and it's brimming with all sorts of soon-to-be interior icons – from sculptural, statement-making furnishings to small but lavish accessories that can catch eyes from miles away. Each piece feels like a main character, but somehow, they all meld together to form a collection that's united with undeniable sophistication and refined elegance.

This range feels like something you'd expect to see in the residence of a 20th-century silver screen star, though it's been tastefully reimagined for modern homes and modern life. Needless to say, it's show-stopping.

According to Laura and Tiffany, the collection is meant to reflect their joint interest in vintage cinema and high fashion – references that are clearly evident in each of the collection's offerings. Each piece feels like something you'd see on an old film set – from the Cinema Vanity to the Mystic Chaise Lounge. More abstractly, the forms of these pieces – their sculptural silhouettes and curved designs – seemingly mimic the moves of designer evening gowns. And the metallic accent details act as the jewelry on top.

You can tell how much thought went into the design of the collection, too. From the tastefully tailored ruching on the Velvet Goodbye Ottoman to the ribbed texture of the Biba Wall Sconce, everything was designed with the utmost attention. These pieces can bring a sense of drama, sophistication, and even some sexiness to your home without even trying.

What I love most about this collection is its warm minimalist aesthetic made evident through its warm color scheme, its soft curves, and its rich textures. It's a look that feels very refreshing right now – still tapping into the highly desirable vintage-inspired look that's having a moment, but doing so in a refined, pared-back, and intentional manner.

The collection is almost like a callback to the quiet luxury trend of the early 2020s, but in reality, the only thing making it 'quiet' is its subdued color palette. Otherwise, its metallic accents and sculptural structures just ooze with modern glamour and cinematic drama, making your home feel more elevated with every little detail.

Laura Harrier and Tiffany Howell's Crate & Barrel collection is the definition of soft Hollywood glamour. Between its color palette, its sculptural silhouettes, and its undeniably luxe undertones, the collection is one that just might make you feel like a movie star in your own home.
