The Boston Celtics continued rolling with their ninth straight win, beating the Chicago Bulls 124-113 on the road on Saturday night despite being without Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jrue Holiday.
The game was a close run for most of the contest, the Celtics finally pulling away in the contest’s final frame. Big games from Jayson Tatum (26 points, 6 assists), Sam Hauser (23 points, 5 rebounds), Al Horford (23 points, 8 boards), Derrick White (17 points, 6 assists), and Payton Pritchard (15 points, 8 assists) powered Boston’s win. Luke Kornet also put up 13 rebounds in a start, tying his career high.
The win was the Celtics’ ninth in a row, improving their record to 57-14 on the season, placing them an absurd 11.5 game lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings.
