A large water leak in East Bristol was caused by a fire hydrant being damaged, Bristol Water has said. Footage of the leak shows water shooting out on Stapleton Road near the station.
The video shows the water going higher than the properties along the street, with large amounts of water covering the road in Easton. The clip also shows the road was closed off while the incident was being dealt with, with the fire service being called to the scene.
A witness - who was cycling home from a friend's house - said the water was shooting 10m high into the air.

Bristol Water said there was no impact to water supplies as a result of the leak but that, due to the large volume of water and the pressure change in the pipes disrupting the flow of water, this caused sediment to move in the pipes which discoloured some water supplies in the area.
A Bristol Water spokesperson said it received a report late on Wednesday (September 7) of a large water leak on Stapleton Road, Easton. The statement said: "Our inspector arrived on site to find that a third party had damaged a fire hydrant while operating it.
“Our inspector isolated the water to the hydrant and completed the necessary repairs overnight without any impact to water supplies for our customers. Due to the large volume of water and the pressure change in the pipes disrupting the flow of water, this has caused sediment to move in the pipes which has discoloured some water supplies in the area.
“Our crew have been out ‘flushing’ the pipes to clear the water and get all of our customers water supplies back to normal as quickly as possible.”
