Eight people were killed in a massive landslip in Manipur in the early hours of Thursday. As many as 45 are feared to be trapped in the debris, say Army sources.
The disaster took place in Noney district destroying a railway construction camp near Tupul. The deaths of seven Territorial Army personnel were confirmed. At least four railway employees are missing.
