Land acquisition for Noida airport with farmers’ consent, says UP CM Yogi Adityanath

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday announced that the acquisition of land for the second phase of Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar airport, would be done on the basis of mutual consent with farmers.

“Government endeavour is to keep farmers happy,” the CM said after meeting a group of farmers from Gautam Budh Nagar at his official residence in Lucknow. Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh accompanied the farmers.
