Lanarkshire thug, 20, jailed over repeated domestic abuse of partner

A Carluke man has been locked up after a campaign of abuse towards his partner that lasted more than a year.

Anthony Rooney throttled the woman and on another occasion bent her wrist backwards.

Rooney, of Unitas Crescent, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
