Lanarkshire residents are being urged to check if they are on the electoral register.
The annual voter registration canvass has kicked off and over 300,000 Lanarkshire households will receive a form or a letter to ensure they are on the register.
This is to ensure that residents are able to vote in future elections, and they should follow the guidance given which will indicate if a response is required or not.
