Lamar Jackson wasn’t listed on the Ravens’ injury report to begin the week on Wednesday, but he was absent from the open portion of practice on Thursday, which was unexpected. It’s the first time all year that Jackson has missed a day of practice, so it’s certainly a situation worth monitoring.
The Ravens will release their second injury report after practice, so we’ll have a better idea of why Jackson was missing in action. It’s possible that he’s dealing with an illness or personal matter rather than an injury.
If Jackson were to miss Sunday’s game against the Rams, Tyler Huntley would presumably step in as the starter, with Josh Johnson as the backup.
