Nigel Farage unleashed withering criticism of Sir Sadiq Khan as he announced that ex-Tory councillor Laila Cunningham will be Reform UK’s candidate for Mayor of London.

The Reform leader said the May local elections, including in London, would be used by his party as a springboard to seek to take control of City Hall in 2028.
