Labor and Albanese slump to new lows in Newspoll, but Labor improves in a DemosAU poll

Labor’s primary vote in Newspoll was down two points to 27%, their worst Newspoll since 2012 and just one point above their record low. Anthony Albanese’s net approval slumped six points to a new low of -27.

However, in the DemosAU poll, Labor’s primary vote was up two points to 28%, their highest in that poll since February. The combined vote for One Nation and the Coalition was steady at 49% in Newspoll, but down three points to 46% in DemosAU, the lowest combined right vote in DemosAU since January.
