Los Angeles is braced for renewed high winds it is feared could set back progress in fighting the devastating wildfires that have destroyed thousands of homes and killed at least 24 people.
Officials are preparing for the onset of another round of dangerous winds on Tuesday that will significantly heighten fire risk after both the Eaton and Palisades fires saw increased containment and no significant growth in the past 24 hours.
