PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has rallied around Idrissa Gueye after the former Everton midfielder received abuse on social media.
Gueye was seemingly subjected to abusive messages from his own supporters after it was feared that a training ground tackle had seriously injured Mbappe, ahead of the club’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid..
A video emerged on social media of the slightly mis-timed challenge from the ex- Blue , which prompted an instant pained response from the World Cup winner.
However, the 23-year-old has sent a defiant message on social media, showing his support for Gueye.

Posting a picture of the pair together on Instagram, Mbappe’s caption read: “"All together. Always. This is Paris."
Despite initial worries that the France striker could face a lengthy spell on the side-lines, PSG confirmed that Mbappe had travelled with the squad ahead of their decisive round of 16 clash in Madrid.
A club statement on Monday said that scans of the injury had been “reassuring”, prior to Wednesday's game at the Bernabeu.
Though Mbappe has been heavily linked with a future move to Real Madrid, he did score a last-minute goal for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to hand PSG a 1-0 win in the first leg.
Gueye has made over 100 appearances for PSG since leaving Goodison in 2019 in a £30m deal.
The 32-year-old has won four major honours in his time at the Parc des Princes but the club will be hoping to win their first Champions League title after finishing as runners-up in 2020.
