Kyle Wootton has joined Stockport County after confirming his departure from Notts County.
The 25-year-old was strongly linked with Portsmouth but has signed a three-year deal with the League Two new boys having seen his contract expire at Notts. Wootton will be fondly remembered at Meadow Lane having scored 59 goals in 134 games since joining them from Scunthorpe United.
Wootton took to Twitter to thank fans for their support as he left the Magpies. He said: "I'd like to firstly thank the club for giving me the opportunity and the fans for all the support through the ups and downs over the years.
