Kye Rowles has hailed Garang Kuol's switch to Hearts as a 'great move' and labelled having FOUR Aussies at Tynecastle as 'pretty special'.
The highly-rated Australia international - who was part of Graham Arnold's World Cup squad with the Jambos trio of Nathaniel Atkinson, Cammy Devlin and Rowles - has signed for Robbie Neilson's side on loan until the end of the season from English Premier League high-flyers Newcastle United. They snapped up the talented teen from Central Coast Mariners - Rowles' club before moving to the capital.
He believes having a core of Socceroos stars already in Edinburgh will make life easier for Kuol to adapt as he takes on his first move overseas. The benefit won't only come inside the club walls but outside as he gets used to the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. Speaking about Kuol's arrival in Gorgie, he said: “It’s great to welcome him. I think it makes it easier that there are already three Aussies here, he is only a young fella and a first move overseas is always a massive step and it certainly helped me with Nate and Cammy already being here.
