The Universal and DreamWorks Animation movie, featuring the voice of Jack Black, has been a massive success since its inception in 2008, accumulating over $1.9 billion at the box office. The latest installment has already grossed $107.7 million domestically, playing in 4,067 locations across North America.
Despite the arrival of several new movies in over 1,000 theaters this weekend, including 'Arthur the King,' 'The American Society of Magical Negroes,' and 'Love Lies Bleeding,' established franchises like 'Dune: Part Two' continued to perform well. 'Dune: Part Two' secured the second spot in its third weekend, earning $29.1 million, a mere 37% drop from the previous weekend. The film has now amassed $205.3 million domestically and nearly $500 million worldwide.
