Kumaraswamy urges Karnataka CM to take over NICE road project, halt toll collection

Bengaluru: Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy has urged Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar to take over the NICE road project and immediately halt what he termed "unauthorised" toll collection.

In a seven-page letter to Shivakumar, the JD(S) leader cited recent observations of the Karnataka High Court on alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Bengaluru-Mysuru Infrastructure Corridor Project and sought corrective action by the state government.
