KSI has revealed that Wayne Rooney has offered to fight him ahead of his next appearance at Wembley Arena on the next Misfits boxing card.
The YouTube star is currently 4-0-1 in his boxing career and takes on Bellator MMA star Dillon Danis in his next fight which takes place on January 14, 2023. However, the offer from Rooney he revealed in his press conference ahead of that fight on Wednesday gives the 29-year-old star a potential mega-fight.
Rooney has become more involved in the boxing world lately, having always had an interest in the sport. Tyson Fury has publicly accepted his offer of a sparring session in preparation for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk, with the former Manchester United captain having attended his win against Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Now, KSI has revealed that the all-time record England and United goalscorer made an offer to him on an unspecified date which could see them enter the ring together in the future. Speaking at the press conference in London on Thursday, the London-born star revealed the offer from the current DC United manager.
He said: "It's funny, and I hope he doesn't get annoyed that I'm saying this, but Wayne Rooney hit me up saying 'oh we should fight'."
But KSI added he is not keen on the idea and responded to Rooney. "I said 'no', I just don't want to do that. If Wayne Rooney is down, I think it would be good to have him in the [influencer boxing] space."
Despite his admission that he would not like to fight Rooney, the revelations raise the prospect of future fights involving the 37-year-old. However, his contractual obligations with his job at DC United in the MLS may preclude him from taking on such a fight.
