KSI has challenged Jake Paul to see who can sell more pay-per-views in their upcoming boxing fights.
The British YouTube star, whose real name is JJ Olatunji, makes his boxing comeback on August 27. KSI hasn't fought since his 2019 rematch with Jake's brother Logan in which he won by split decision. The pair first met in a 2018 white-collar bout that was scored a majority draw.
KSI was one of the first YouTubers who crossed over to boxing, beginning his ring ventures with white-collar fight against fellow content creator Joe Weller, which set off a new wave of fights between YouTubers.
Paul, who is 5-0 as a professional, announced he will fight for the first time this year on August 6 at Madison Square Garden. The American's opponent is yet to be named and KSI has now issued a challenge to his rival.

"You should fight on your own card on the 27th of August, so we can see who can get the most PPV’s. Especially since you might not even be fighting on the 13th anymore lmao. We can then see who has the real power," he wrote.
Paul caught onto KSI's tweet and replied by stating that the Brit will challenge him to anything other than a fight. "You wanna challenge me in everything except an actual fight," Paul wrote.
KSI is hopeful of fighting Paul next year. The pair had a tense face-to-face after Paul's first professional win against AnEsonGib in 2020, but KSI never acted on the fight after struggling to balance his music career with boxing.
'The Nightmare' recently labelled himself as the "king" of YouTube boxing having helped set the trend back in 2018 ."Do you not understand who I am? I’m the king baby. It was Joe Weller, Theo Baker and then me. I took it to crazy levels and then was like I am out I will do music for a little bit but now I am back," KSI said on his YouTube channel.
"I am so excited to get back in the ring and I will show everyone that I am the greatest YouTube boxer and then there will be silence from all of these haters. I have been watching all of these p***** like Jake [Paul] and Austin [McBroom] thinking they are sick, just wait."
