• The sequel is not expected to be released on the streaming service until 2029, due to the lengthy production time for animated features.
• The first film, which premiered in June 2025, topped Netflix's global movie charts and its song “Golden” won a Grammy and other awards.
• The new film is anticipated to explore the backstories and evolution of the HUNTR/X members, which were omitted from the first instalment.
