KOLKATA: Water supply across a large area of Salt Lake Sector II was majorly affected on Wednesday and is likely to remain disrupted on Thursday due to a leak detected in the pipelines beside the Tank 5 underground reservoir-cum-booster pumping station.
The station supplies water to tanks 5 through 10. Civic officials said KMDA will repair the leak on an urgent basis and normal supply is expected from Friday.
