Kolkata: Man flees with rental firm’s car

KOLKATA: An app-based self-drive car rental firm has lodged an FIR against a customer who switched off the tracking device in the vehicle and then fled with the car.

The person had taken the car from Biman Nagar on June 10. It was to be returned the following morning. But the customer did not do so and the car then went off grid. Baguiati cops later lodged an FIR after court’s intervention.
