Knights poach NRLW premiership-winner

Hannah Southwell has quit the Sydney Roosters to join hometown NRLW club Newcastle. (AAP)

Newcastle have poached NSW Women's State of Origin lock Hannah Southwell from Sydney, with the Knights continuing to build a stacked squad for the 2022 season.

Southwell joins Dally M medallist Millie Boyle and Tamika Upton as huge additions for the Knights, who are looking to improve on last season's winless return.
