Big Four accountancy firm KPMG has announced 59 promotions in its Bristol and Plymouth offices including a new director. The company said the promotions demonstrated the firm's "continued investment" to the South West region.
Rob Andrews has been promoted to director in the audit function, while 14 further employees have been promoted to senior manager, 13 to manager, and 31 to assistant manager.
The promotions span the full breadth of services provided by the firm, which said the move was underpinned by the "successful growth of the business" and increased client demand over the last year. KPMG UK currently employs around 550 professionals in the West Country.

In April, KPMG made a number of regional appointments, including Iain Prince, Ian Wood, Jon Brown, Simon Robinson, David Harris, and Roger Gadd to the position of partner.
The firm said the promotions are part of plans to expand its presence in the region and follow the a recent move to a larger office space in Plymouth in the grade-I listed, ex-naval site Royal William Yard.
