KJ Osborn is a hero, rescues man from burning car

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver KJ Osborn has had an eventful off-season.

On Sunday night in Austin, Texas, Osborn helped rescue a man from a burning car. Recently, Osborn joined ESPN’s Adam Schefter on his podcast to tell the story.

“Most of the time, the saying goes, “wrong place wrong time,”” Osborn said on Twitter. “but this time I believe God had me, us, at the right place at the right exact time.”

According to Osborn, he was in the back of an Uber on his way home when his Uber driver realized that the man had crashed his car. Osborn, the driver, and two others immediately sprung to action to help pull the man from his vehicle.

Osborn does not know the full extent of the man’s injuries but told Schefter that he believes their actions helped save his life. He also told Schefter that he plans on visiting the man in the hospital soon.

Osborn played in all 17 games for the Vikings and finished with 650 yards and five touchdowns on 60 receptions.
