The mysterious death of a West Lothian woman in 2017 is still under investigation as her parents continue to plead for answers.
Kirsty Maxwell, 27, died in mysterious circumstances during a hen weekend in Benidorm, Spain in 2017.
Brian and Denise Curry, her parents from Livingston, believe that an unknown English woman was at the scene when Maxwell died and could hold crucial information. The Curry’s are pleading for the woman to come forward.
“Who is this girl and why hasn’t she come forward? Why were no statements taken from her?” Brian, from Livingston, asked.

Maxwell had only been married for a few months when she attended a hen weekend in Benidorm with friends. During the trip, authorities say Maxwell was in a 10th floor apartment with five men from Nottingham. An unknown woman was also allegedly at the scene.
At some point, Maxwell plunged from the 10th floor balcony in Apartamentos Payma and fell to her death.
The five men were questioned by Spanish police, and in 2019 Judge Ana Isabel Garcia-Galbis ruled there was no proof that the death was a homicide or that the five men could have been involved.
However, the Curry’s believe a mystery English woman was inside the flat as well, and they believe she could hold crucial information or evidence about the circumstances surrounding Maxwell’s death.
“We believe she is a key witness. We just want her to come forward and tell us what she knows. Maybe somebody who knows the men knows her and can tell her we are appealing for her to come forward,” said Brian.
The men in question are named as Joseph Graham, Ricky Gammon, Anthony Holehouse, Callum Northridge, and Daniel Bailey.
Brian and Denise will appear with retired detective superintendent David Swindle at the first Scottish CrimeCon in Glasgow this September to discuss the case.
