Kirstie Allsopp has sparked outrage after moaning that if only young people gave up Netflix, gym memberships and other 'luxuries' that made life more bearable, they would be able to afford the £59,000 average house deposit to get on the property ladder.
The Location, Location, Location host boasted that she bought her first property with a hefty payout from her minted family at the age of 21, when the average house price in the UK was around £51,000, around five times her salary at the time.
Today, it's £268,000, around nine times the average salary, while rising living costs are pushing many families into poverty.
