The King on Wednesday paid tribute to cancer support workers across the UK, describing them as “an inspiration to us all” in a message shared with guests at a Buckingham Palace reception.
In his message, King Charles - himself undergoing chemotherapy - acknowledged the emotional and practical challenges faced by those affected by cancer, writing that “the shock of a cancer diagnosis is all too familiar – not only for the patient, but also for their family and friends.”
