King Charles and Queen Camilla will not use Buckingham Palace as their home once an ongoing extensive £370m refurbishment project has finished.
The landmark will continue to serve as the monarchy’s operational headquarters, but Charles has decided it will not be his official residence during his reign. The nearby Clarence House will remain as the royal couple’s London home.
