King Charles III will visit Leeds next week for the first time since becoming monarch.
His Majesty the King will hold a number of engagements in the city on Tuesday, November 8. After leaving Bradford, the King will arrive at Leeds Central Library and Art Gallery on Caverley Street where he will be shown some of 'The World Reimagined Globes' which have been on display since the end of September.
The globes are part of a national project to explore the history and impact of the transatlantic slave trade.

The King will then meet young achievers, including the Leeds Children's Mayor. His Majesty will also be introduced to members of the Jamaican and wider West Indian community and will tour the Jamaica Society Leeds' Rebellion to Romance exhibition.
King Charles III will be shown a plaque marking his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II's, visit to the building in 1982. He will then be introduced to a range of representatives from the Leeds financial sector at Leeds Building Society on Sovereign Street.
Richard Fearon, chief executive of Leeds Building Society, said: "We’re extremely honoured to have the opportunity to welcome His Majesty The King to the Society and to officially open our head office. We hope to show His Majesty how we, and the wider financial services sector in the city and region, are helping people to manage their money at this very uncertain and challenging time."
