Kim Wilde and ex-husband Hal Fowler still on 'good terms'

Kim Wilde says she and ex-husband Hal Fowler 'still talk'

Kim Wilde and her ex-husband Hal Fowler "still talk" – almost two years on from their shock divorce.

The ‘80s pop legend, 63, and her ‘Tommy’ co-star Hal Fowler, 56, parted ways in December 2022, bringing a 26-year marriage to an end – but she insists they remain on “good terms”.

Speaking to new! magazine, the ‘Kids in America’ hitmaker said: “I don’t think I’ve ever been as happy. Life is fantastic.

“I’ve learnt a lot during the last two years after the divorce. I still have my health, and I’m so grateful for all the simple things.

“My family are healthy, and that’s all you can ask for. I’m in a good place. But I regret nothing from the past.

“Hal and I still talk.”

The pair met when they worked on the hit West End rock opera musical ‘Tommy’ in 1996.

They tied the knot in September of that year in Codicote, Hertfordshire – just six months after they met.

Kim and Hal - who starred as Mimban Lieutenant in 2018’s ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ in 2018 – have children Harry, 26, and Rose, 24, together.

The singer – who is the daughter of 85-year-old rock ‘n’ roll star Marty Wilde – shocked fans when the pair announced their amicable split in a joint statement.

It read: "Kim Wilde and Hal Fowler wish to announce that they amicably separated by agreement last year and have divorced.

"No third party is involved. They remain on good terms and wish only the best for each other in the next phases of their lives. No further comment or statements will be made."

Kim shot to fame when her 1981 debut single 'Kids in America' peaked at number two in the UK singles chart, and in 1983 she received the Best British Female solo artist accolade at the BRIT Awards.
