Kim Kardashian blames North West for 'British chav' makeover after losing bet

Kim Kardashian has admitted she lost a bet to her daughter North West after revealing a shock new makeover on TikTok.

The 42-year-old took to social media on Wednesday to show off her new look, as she piled on heavy makeup while miming to a song by Blackpool grime star Millie B.

In the video, Kim rocked huge black brows, heavy foundation, concealer lips and hot pink blusher. She completed her look with long fake eyelashes and a very messy bun.

The video was quickly picked up by fans, one person sharing it on Twitter. They wrote: "This is the last thing I thought Kim Kardashian would do on tiktok."

Kim then replied to the tweet to set the record straight.

She said: "Me too! The bribes and bet losing I have going on with North is unreal!"

People found the comment hilarious, with one fan writing: "Everyone saying north holding you hostage," adding a series of crying laughing emojis.

"Somehow I knew queen North would be behind this," someone else wrote. A third person tweeted: "She’s so clever though because this is funny af."

"We all knew North had something to do with it," one follower joked.

The 'chav' trend has gone viral on TikTok, with Gen Z users adopting the makeup trends many British women followed during the 00s.

TikTok users will film their makeup techniques as they mime along to Millie B's track, which she released as a 16-year-old in December 2016 as 'a send' for Sophie Aspin - another figure from the Blackpool grime scene.

'Chav' is an outdated term to describe young people's perceived coarse and brash behaviour.

It was often used as derogatory dig towards working class people and a way to demonise poor people.

Kim and North launched their joint TikTok account in November 2021 and currently boast more than 12million followers.

Kim has some strict rules for her daughter while using social media and takes steps to try and keep her safe.

Her rules include making sure all comment sections are turned off on every post the youngster makes and making sure North can only use the app on her phone.
