Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty has left Kilmarnock by mutual consent, the Rugby Park club confirmed on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old was embroiled in controversy earlier this season after copping a 10-match ban for use of sectarian language while on duty for his country.
He's scored three times this season for Derek McInnes' side and they have now confirmed on deadline day that the former Rangers striker is departing Ayrshire, reports the Daily Record.

A brief statement read: "It’s with regret that Kyle Lafferty and Kilmarnock Football Club have parted company by mutual consent. We thank Kyle for his service to the club."
Lafferty previously had a spell with Kilmarnock in 2021 but was not able to keep them up despite a raft of goals. He then returned for their Championship title bid last season after a spell abroad with Anorthosis Famagusta.
The 35-year-old has experienced a nomadic club career, having started out at Burnley, before playing for clubs including Rangers, Palermo, Norwich City, Hearts, Sunderland and several more in the UK and abroad.
McInnes has bolstered his striker department with Kyle Vassell this month, with the team currently joint-bottom of the Scottish Premiership
The big question will be where Lafferty goes, with the striker able to join another club outside the transfer window because he is a free agent.
