Killing Eve is BACK for eight brand new blood-pumping and head-spinning episodes.
Following the emotional climax of Season 3, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer will be crawling back to our screens to continue one of the most unpredictable cat-and-mouse chases of television history.
An action-packed trailer seems to tease some sort of revenge storyline on the part of British Intelligence agent, Eve (Oh), as she is shown obsessing over a mind-map consisting of the identity of The Twelve assassins, who have mysteriously started dropping like flies.
Alternatively, Villanelle seems to be on the path to enlightenment after finding a humble community to prove she's not a monster. The trailer implies however that the young hit-man isn't doing such a good job as she's seen telling a therapist: "I killed two people last night when I tried really hard not to."
World-saving MI6 frontman Carolyn (Fiona Shaw), traitorous agent Paul (Steve Pemberton) and rival assassin for the Twelve, Rhian (Alexandra Roach) will also be back and badder than ever, attempting to keep the troublesome twosome as far away from each other as humanly possible.
Sally Woodward Gentle, executive producer of the series, also gave a further insight into what eager viewers can expect from their next showdown, telling Entertainment Weekly: "Eve and Villanelle, having left each other in total turmoil on Tower Bridge at the end of season 3, are thrown into season 4 trying to figure out what they mean to each other and what their lives now stand for.
"And while Carolyn has shot a man in cold blood, she is trying to find out who is responsible for the hit on her son. This one is going to be a lot more personal and passionate than the seasons before."
The upcoming BBC America series, which also happens to be the final instalment of the critically-acclaimed thriller (boo!), is set to return on Sunday, February 27.
