An Albany woman has been arrested over an alleged plot to bomb the New York State Capitol on a day senators were meeting inside, with federal prosecutors accusing her of planning to 'destroy as much of the building as possible and kill the senators while they are meeting'.
Jessica Bowie, 35, appeared in federal court in Albany on Thursday on a single charge of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organisation, according to the US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of New York.
