Kieran Tierney Arsenal future latest with Celtic diehard to make 'decision' in the summer

Kieran Tierney will decide his Arsenal future at the end of the season, according to a report.

The former Celtic and Scotland star has struggled to nail down a permanent starting spot in Mikel Arteta's side due to the form of summer recruit Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City. The full-back has featured from the start in the likes of the Europa League and domestic cup competitions but EPL minutes have been harder to come by.

In the last six league outings he has played just 12 minutes with 11 of those coming against Tottenham in the North London derby and just one last time out in the 4-2 win over Aston Villa. He was on the bench for the previous four games with Manchester United, Everton, Brentford and Manchester City but never got any minutes under his belt.

The Gunners are in the fight for the English Premier League title while they also have the Europa League as the battle for domestic and European success gets ready to resume. He will be desperate for top team minutes with Scotland's Euros campaign getting underway next month with a Hampden double-header against Cyprus and Spain at the end of March.

Newcastle are reported to be tracking the Celtic diehard but Arsenal are not in talks with any clubs at this stage states transfer guru Fabrizio Romano with the club wanting the defender 100 per cent focussed on the what could prove a vital period ahead.

In his Caught Offside daily briefing, he said: "Kieran Tierney will decide his future at the end of the season, also Nuno Tavares on loan is another factor to consider. Arsenal want him to be 100% focused on the second part of the season, they’re not in talks with any club now."
