Kiera Dignam, daughter of Christy Dignam, performed the Aslan hit 'Crazy World' at Dalymount Park this evening in honour of her recently deceased father.
Tonight's game between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers was played in Christy's memory with a minutes silence held as a mark of respect for the Aslan frontman before kick-off. Collections were also held at the derby among both sets of supporters, with all money raised going to the hospice where Christy spent his final days.
All proceeds from the sale of the special Aslan themed jersey will also be going to that same hospice.
Christy’s daughter Kiera paid tribute to both clubs before the game, saying: “We have been blown away by the support shown to us by Bohs and Rovers.

“My Dad was a big supporter of the League of Ireland and would absolutely love being included on a jersey and to be honoured in such a way."
“We cannot thank you enough for your generosity towards St Francis Hospice, who do endless work to help people in the position we unfortunately found ourselves in.
“We will be forever grateful for this gesture in memory of my Dad.”
Christy Dignam was a lifelong fan of Bohs and performed on stage in a Bohs shirt on a number of occasions.
He died last Tuesday at the age of 65 after a 10 year battle with a rare disease known as amyloidosis.
