Kia has found a unique way to announce their big launch in India. The company posted a picture of a famous square in Sorrento, one of Italian towns and asked people to guess what it meant. In the beginning the post looked like a travel photo. But it did not take long for people to find it out. The clue was in the town's name itself. Kia was trying to make it confirm that the Sorento is coming to India.

We can expect a 1.6 litre turbo petrol hybrid for India. Likely to come with a six speed automatic gearbox, while higher variants could also offer all wheel drive. If that happens, Sorento will become Kia’s first strong hybrid model in India.

Kia has not announced the launch date but as the festive season is near. We can expect its launch between late August and Diwali.
Expected Price
The price has not been confirmed by the company. According to the industry estimates expect the price between Rs 28 lakh and Rs 50 lakh. The price will depend on the variant and also whether the company will choose local assemblies or import the SUV.
