Khloe Kardashian has hit out at accusations she’s had a string of procedures to her ever changing face – which many fans will agree looks drastically different to how it did when she first entered the spotlight 15 years ago.
The 37-year-old reality star has fascinated and enraged fans over the years thanks to her ever evolving image – with many slamming her for creating a fake image that others cannot emulate.
While Khloe claims she is largely unbothered by speculation about what she has or has not done to her own body, she admits that one things that does get her goat is the accusation she’s had a face transplant.
The mum-of-one has bitterly hit back at the claim – saying she’s only ever had one nose job, a bit of dabbling with botox, and some ‘injections’.
Launching into a furious self-defence tirade on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Khloe said: “It did use to bother me when people were [saying] I’ve had 12 face transplants.
“I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, I have?’ I was like, ‘That’s crazy’. It didn’t bother me. It offended me.”
She continued: “I just couldn’t figure out why people thought that. I’ve had one nose job that I love. Like, I want everyone to know. … I don’t care to lie about it.
“But the transplant thing, I just want to understand why. That sounds amazing later in life, but now, I’m good.”
Khloe also hinted that she hates the fact she is always compared to her sisters – who have been accused of going under the knife themselves.
She said: “Either with … the old me versus what I look like now … or even just comparing me to my sisters all the time.
“It’s like, you guys, this is what we look like, so I feel like you should know by now, and enough. Oh, my God, I hear it all the time.”
Khloe’s comments come after she told talk show host Andy Cohen that she’d enjoyed some cosmetic procedures in the past.
She told him back in April: “I’ve done, sure, injections — not really Botox. I’ve responded poorly to Botox.”
That’s not the only thing that’s reacted poorly to Khloe, however – fans have taken issue with her too.
Last year she sparked fury when an unedited image of her appeared online.
At first fans thought she was trying to make a message about body positivity – but it soon emerged the unfiltered image had been shared in error by one of her team and she started sending legal threats to anyone that re-published it.
This provoked an angry response from even the most devout fans who blasted Khloe for setting unrealistic beauty standards.
A hastily issued update of another ‘unfiltered’ image by Khloe only angered fans further, however.
One critic raged online: “The reality is that Khloé is in a body-conscious, hypercritical prison that is partially of her own making and with every decision to edit, filter, airbrush, Facetune, distort, and divorce herself from her actual image, she further fortifies this prison.”
