Khephren Thuram 'seduced' by Liverpool project as new transfer claims emerge

Liverpool target Khephren Thuram has been "seduced" by the prospect of joining the Reds, according to respected French outlet L'Equipe.

Jurgen Klopp has already made one midfield acquisition already this summer as Alexis Mac Allister swapped the seaside for Merseyside arriving from Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee - believed to be in the region of £35m. Attention now turns to who could follow him.

As the ECHO reported earlier this week, France U21 international Thuram is "under real consideration" as uncertainty swirls around his future.

In their report published, it is claimed that Thuram has been encouraged by the project presented by the Reds. The article states: "The player is not against leaving Nice, despite his attachment to the club, and has shown himself to be seduced by the Liverpool project."

Moises Caicedo’s agent has revealed the player will “listen” to offers from other clubs this summer.

Liverpool have already raided Brighton for World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister and are one of several clubs linked with his former team-mate. Chelsea, however, are said to to be the frontrunners.

And speaking to SussexWorld, the Ecuadorian’s agent, Manuel Sierra, issued a seven-word plea to clubs hoping to sign his client.
