In 1989, French composer Philippe Cohen Solal, co-founder of the electro-tango trio Gotan Project, heard Nigerian singer-songwriter Keziah Jones busking on the streets of Paris. That marked the beginning of an over 30-year friendship, which recently spawned an EP: "Class of 89". The record features a blend of influences and styles. The two musicians tell FRANCE 24's Florence Villeminot how their decades-long friendship created the trust necessary to compose freely together. We also look at Sir Elton John's last UK concert at this year's Glastonbury festival and the release of a long-lost Frank Zappa album from 1970.
