The lineup of speakers is set to be announced over the next week, with former first minister Alex Salmond – who led the Yes campaign in 2014 – and veteran broadcaster Bernard Ponsonby named as the first guests.
Commenting, Salmond (below) said: “It'll be great to be among friends and campaigners reflecting on the most important political event in our history. One which energised a whole nation and inspired a new generation of Scots.
“However, the most important thing is looking forwards and analysing how we get Scotland out of the current Slough of Despond and back onto the front foot."
The event will take place on September 14 from 6pm to 10.30pm at the IMAX Theatre at Glasgow Science Centre.
