Cleveland Browns backup running back Jerome Ford has been held out of practice the last couple of weeks with a hamstring injury. On Tuesday head coach Kevin Stefanski gave an update stating that Ford will not practice this week and his status for the season open is still up in the air. Good news came regarding right tackle Jack Conklin who remains in concussion protocol after briefly returning to practice Sunday.
Stefanski said that though he is still in the protocol he returned to practice Wednesday. With the final tuneup before the regular season this Saturday the team will look to get all their major contributors healthy for the Bengals in a couple weeks.
