Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona revealed she felt lonely during her first pregnancy as her ex-husband Brian McFadden was away a lot.
The 42-year-old and Brian welcomed their 21-year-old daughter Molly in August 2001.
Kerry and Brian tied the knot the next year and went on to welcome Lilly-Sue, 18, in 2003. The couple parted ways in 2006.
At the time, Brian was extremely busy touring with Westlife and the two couldn't keep in touch often.
She opened up about her pregnancy after Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague admitted pregnancy was lonely as her boyfriend Tommy Fury was often away at boxing camp.
Kerry revealed: "It’s hard for anyone going through something so huge when their partner isn’t always by their side and I know how that feels."
She went on to tell OK! : "When I was pregnant with our Molly, her dad Brian was touring with Westlife and I had times when I was alone.
"We never had FaceTime then and it was hard when I couldn’t see him as much as I wanted to."
Meanwhile, Brian, 42, welcomed his daughter Ruby in May 2021 with fiancée Danielle Parkinson.
The musician had kept fans up-to-date on his adorable baby on social media, and Kerry couldn't help but notice the difference in his parenting then and now.
Kerry said he's a 'better dad now' to his baby daughter Ruby than he was to her girls.
Discussing her feelings towards her ex, Kerry, also mum to Heidi, 15, Max, 14, and DJ, eight, says even he would accept he wasn't there as much as he should have been.

She told OK! Magazine: "The older the girls have got, the more of a relationship they’ve had with Brian.
"That’s not me slagging him off, he’ll admit that himself. He’s a better dad now to Ruby and I think that hurts the girls.
"We all change. He’s older, with more patience, and I feel he is doing it better this time around – which is great. But that doesn’t stop the hurt my girls feel because of that."
Kerry recently took an x-rated swipe at her ex.
During an appearance on the Back Then When podcast, Kerry was asked: “You probably put a lot of awful things in your mouth, but what's the worst thing you put your mouth in the jungle?”
To which she cheekily responded: “I was going to say Brian McFadden.”
