Kerry Katona urges Molly-Mae to change baby Bambi's name over school bullying fears

Kerry Katona has urged Molly-Mae to change her baby's name from Bambi over fears she could be picked on in school. The former Atomic Kitten star admitted she 'isn't a fan' of the name that 'sounds a bit ridiculous' given to the newborn by parents Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Lee Fury.

Katona, 42, urged the new parents to change their daughter's name and warned she risks 'getting stick' in school over her name - which was announced as Bambi.

Molly-Mae's name reveal divided fans – which could have sparked her to turn the comments on the post off as the option to leave a comment was removed shortly after the image was shared.

TV personality Kerry has now weighed in on the debate in her latest OK! magazine column admitting she was 'not a fan' of the name and suggesting the pair consider changing it

She penned: "Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced the birth of their daughter last week. It’s lovely news, but I must admit I’m not a fan of the name. I think Bambi Fury sounds a bit ridiculous.

"It reminds me of the Disney film where the mother gets shot! The poor kid might get some stick in school."

She added: "If they haven’t registered the name yet, maybe they should consider changing it. But each to their own…"

The Love Island couple announced the arrival of their baby daughter in a touching post on Instagram last Monday, after Jake Paul leaked the news that Molly-Mae had given birth, and a day later unveiled the unique name they have chosen for their little one.

Molly-Mae revealed partner Tommy 'loved' the name when she told him of her hopes to name her tot Bambi, saying: "I've had the name picked out since I was a baby girl myself. It's always been a dream baby girl name and luckily when I met Tommy and I told him the name I've always dreamt of using, he absolutely loved it too."
